How does Educational Psychology Direct fit with local services?

All Local Authorities in Wales provide a statutory educational psychology service to schools. You should always, therefore, discuss any concerns with the school’s Additional Learning Needs Coordinator (ALNCo) in the first instance, as the service you require may be available via school. However, the Local Authority educational psychology services are time limited and schools, parents, Local authorities and other agencies may wish to purchase additional time via Educational Psychology Direct.

Work can be completed with nurseries and other pre-school settings, schools including Local Authority and independent schools, colleges and universities. The educational psychologists are registered with their appropriate governing bodies and can offer a flexible service tailored to your needs.
