How does Educational Psychology Direct fit with local services?

All Local Authorities in Wales provide a statutory educational psychology service to schools.

If you are a parent in Wales or England you should always therefore, discuss any concerns with the school’s Additional Learning Needs Coordinator (ALNCo) in the first instance, as the service you require may be available via school.

However, the Local Authority educational psychology services are time limited and schools, parents, Local authorities and other agencies may wish to purchase additional time via Educational Psychology Direct.
